Apparently, I tried to do too many photos in each post, so I had to split it into 5 parts. I guess that means you're in for a lot of photos!! 一一一一一一一一一一一一一一一一一一一一一 Travels! 🧳 We spent the mid winter recess in Los Angeles. Sammy is just shy of 6 months old and we needed to soak him up. We sat separately from NY to Chicago, but together from Chicago to LAX. Dylan wants to be a pilot when he's older and absolutely loves all things airplane. He excitedly asked the flight attendant if he could see the cockpit. She asked the pilot, who then let him sit in the seat! While he was there, Sarah learned from the flight attendant that it is no longer known as a "cockpit" since women are allowed to fly the plane. It's now called a flight deck. We arrived at Matt & Sarah's in the late afternoon, so Dylan promptly challenged Matt to a chess game. Jo follows a YouTuber and they had an event going on a bit south of the house. We drove up to Hartford Connecticut for the evening on Tuesday. We went to see Twenty-one pilots in concert to celebrate the kids birthday. The kids had the time of their lives!! They got super close during one of their "in audience" moments, we got to meet Tyler's online friend Sebastian, and best of all, we got to see such an awesome group. Here's a quick photo dump:
Sarah & Tyler went to Southern NJ to camp. We cut the trip sorry but had a fun day! Our campsite was large and lovely, though no picnic table. This view is from the tent pad, looking out towards the parking area. It's just beyond the trees on the right. It was nice to have a grill and gas supplied by the kampground. We've never had that before. Unfortunately, that didn't work for us because we didn't have an appropriate spatula. We had brought our regular grill anyway, so we just used that (it was quicker too!) The seats around the fire pit were lovely too. We explored just a little, and took very few photos, so enjoy what we DO have. We happened upon a lake which we walked along. There were ducklings and fish! We spent our morning with a miniature tour of Philadelphia. We didn't do much, as it was crazy hot and humid, but we did get to Elfreths Alley which was über cool. ...
